Lincoln Park Zoo's Endangered Eastern Black Rhinoceros Kapuki is Pregnant

Kapuki, the critically endangered Eastern Black Rhino at the Lincoln Park Zoo is 13 months pregnant!

This is an exciting pregnancy not just for the zoo, but also for the species. There is reportedly only a 1000 or so of these Rhinos left in the world.

In the announcement on Instagram, the zoo said: "Whoa baby, we have some BIG news to share! Kapuki, the 13-year-old female eastern black rhinoceros, is pregnant!
