Parents have been pushing the administration of Virgil Grissom Elementary School in the southeast corner of the city to relieve overcrowding for year.
Chicago Public School guidelines say that no classroom should have more than 28 students in a room Kindergarten to third grade but parents say some kids have more than 40 students.
AND its not just at Virgirl Grissom....packed classrooms and students studying in hallways is happening at more than 30 Chicago Public Schools buildings.
This is just awful and unacceptable!!
CPS says that they will be addressing the problem.
