A 'Street Buckle' Caught on Video in Chicago

Well this just looks terrifying!

A "street buckle" took place on Tuesday in Chicago that caused Jefferson Street to be closed between Adams and Monroe.

WGN shared a video showing the street moving and cracking, startling one man and sending him running to escape it.

The buckle was apparently caused by the pressure of rising water. The National Weather Service reported that more than an inch of rain had fallen in the Chicago area in the previous 24 hours with some getting 2...so the cause of water makes sense.
