Illinois state troopers helped deliver a baby boy on I-57 this past weekend when a woman in labor could not make it to the hospital in time.
Stacey Watkins had gone to the University of Chicago Hospital earlier in the day with labor pains, but was sent home. An hour later, she decided to go back with her brother and fiance.
They pulled over at 111th Street, where Illinois State Troopers were conducting a traffic stop and asked for help.
"Throughout my lifetime I have had plenty of experiences, but never anything that compares to this," Trooper De Leon told ABC7.
Little baby Carter Lee and mom are doing well!
Jeeze, can you imagine!??
