Police officers in Griffith, Indiana, helped reunite two mother ducks with their ducklings on Wednesday.
They shared the photos of the good deed on their Facebook page:
"Our officers are not always conducting traffic stops and responding to calls...sometimes there can be some serious ducking around! Yesterday, Officer Abel and Officer Ghrist assisted Animal Control Warden Sandi Litke on two duckling rescue calls. We are happy to report these little fellas were safely reunited with their mothers and all are doing well. #softersideofpolicework #animalrescue"
