A five-year-old boy saved 13 people from a house fire in Chicago over the weekend, according to People.
Jayden Espinosa was staying at his aunt's apartment on Saturday when, about 4 a.m., he smelled smoke and alerted his aunt and family members. He then went downstairs to warn neighbors.
When he was asked how he knew what he should do in such a situation, the boy said it was "because I'm smart and brilliant."
Both the American Red Cross and a GoFundMe fundraiser are helping Jayden's aunt and cousins to rebuild their lives.

The cause of the blaze is still unknown.
