The CTA Irving Park train stop is known to several commuters as the "pigeon-poop station" because of the sheer volume of bird droppings its platform gets pelted with every day.
State Representative Jaime Andrade has been trying for some time to get his fellow lawmakers to commit to some sort of method for improving the station's sanitation, such as installing a hose line for power washing.
He was discussing the situation with a WBBM reporter for a segment that aired Monday morning when--you guessed it!--a pigeon pooped on his head mid-interview.
“I’ll just have to go clean up,” he said. “That’s what happens to my constituents. They get s**t on all time.”
