After a dog tested positive for low levels of coronavirus last month in Hong Kong, health officials quickly set out to determine whether pets could pass the deadly virus along to humans and the results are surprising.
It turns out they can't, BUT they can test positive for low levels of the virus if they catch it from their owners according to AP News.
That being said, health officials recommend that dogs living in households where the coronavirus has been detected should be quarantined along with their owners, who are being advised not to kiss their pets and to wash their hands after petting them.
