One teenager in England got sent home from school this week after he was caught selling pumps of hand sanitizer at 50 pence (about 64 U.S. cents) a pop.
Oliver reportedly purchased a container of the cleanser while waiting for the school bus; after offering some to his friends, they suggested he could charge people for it. But after trying to sell a squirt to a teacher at Dixon's Unity Academy in Leeds, he got sent home for breaking school rules.
His mom posted on Facebook that he raked in about $11.50 in revenue. "He bought a multipack of Doritos and is saving the rest to buy a kebab later," she said about his profits.
She also said it's been hard to discipline Oliver after his dad has told him he's a "legend" for his moneymaking stunt.
