My 4-year-old has been asking a ton of questions about coronavirus and it's been difficult to explain what it all means to him. I am so grateful HBO and PBS are going do to this!
Kids can get their questions about coronavirus answered next week with help from a new Sesame Street special "Emo's Playdate."
Elmo, Cookie Monster, Grover, and Abby Cadabby will be joined via video conference by Anne Hathaway, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Tracee Ellis Ross for Sesame Street: Elmo’s Playdate, debuting April 14 at 6pm CST!
"We hope Sesame Street: Elmo’s Playdate will entertain and inspire families at a moment when so many are feeling isolated and overwhelmed by current events," said Steve Youngwood, president of Sesame Workshop.
Miranda will sing "Old McDonald Had a Farm" and Ross will play a game of “Elmo Says," while Hathaway will join Elmo for a round of “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes.”
The 30-minute special will air on HBO, PBS Kids and other WarnerMedia television channels including TBS and TNT.
