MLB announced on Monday that it would open the season July 23 with a doubleheader to be broadcast on ESPN.
The matchups will feature the defending World Series champion Washington Nationals hosting the AL's New York Yankees at 6:08pm CT, followed by a NL rivalry game featuring the Los Angeles Dodgers hosting the San Francisco Giants 3 hours later.
Some other notable opening day games on 7.24 include Milwaukee Brewers at Chicago Cubs and Minnesota Twins at Chicago White Sox!
