MLB announced that it is canceling the 2020 Field of Dreams game between the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago White Sox,
The game was set for August 13, and would have been the first ever MLB game in Dyersville, Iowa.
Rosenthal tweeted that the cancellation is "not believed to be tied to additional positive tests on Cardinals. More a logistical problem," although what those problems are exactly remains unclear. The game was originally supposed to feature the New York Yankees versus the White Sox, but was changed to the Cardinals to accommodate the new 60-game schedule.
The Cardinals are currently not playing because of a COVID-19 outbreak on their team.
The game will be re-scheduled for the 2021 season.
