A 63-year-old Texas woman has learned a big lesson after getting catfished by a guy who claimed he was Bruno Mars.
The woman claimed the guy convinced her he was Mars, sending pictures and videos of Mars on stage through Instagram and eventually text messages.
Catfish Mars convinced this woman that his friend needed money for tour expenses, so she ending up giving the guy $10,000 that day and then the next day, $90,000!
Once the cops got involved, they found the scammer, looked into his bank account and found that the money had been deposited and then withdrawn down to a zero balance.
The crook was taken into custody this week and is charged with third-degree felony money laundering.
