Kia is recalling nearly 380-thousand cars in the U.S. due to a fire risk.
Certain 2017 to 2021 Sportage SUV's and 2017 to 2019 Cadenza sedans are under the recall.
Apparently, a short circuit in the electronic brake control unit can cause excessive current, increasing the risk of a fire.
Kia advised owners they should park their cars away from structures until repairs are made.
No fires, accidents or injuries have been reported.
