The new stimulus bill makes fewer people eligible for the $1,400 check.
Lawmakers made a deal as part of the $1.9 trillion dollar package to send checks to people making less than the previous amount. SO even if you got a check last time, you may not this time.
Here's the info on people who won't be getting a check:
Individual taxpayers: No check if your AGI is $80,000 or more
Heads of household: No check if you have an AGI of $120,000 or more
Married couples filing jointly: No check if you have an AGI of $160,000 or higher
Non-US citizens or 'nonresident aliens' again won't get a check
