There are many different ways to prepare chili and lucky for us, “Eat This, Not That!” has compiled a list of what they think is the best chili in every state.

Illinois - Monti’s in Chicago - Known for Oscar’s Famous Chili that’s made from scratch and available by the cup.
Indiana - Yats in Indianapolis - The signature is Chili Cheese Etouffee with Crawfish, but they also have White Chili with Chicken, Black Chili and a Vegan White Chili.
Michigan - Lafayette Coney Island in Detroit - original chili that is poured onto hot digs and a “no bean” chili option as well.
Minnesota - The Lowbrow in Minneapolis - their Bison Chili is a heat and spice-filled chili topped with cheese and sour cream and served with tortilla chips.
Wisconsin - The Old Fashioned in Madison - Slow-simmered beef and red beans and served over spaghetti!
