Brookfield Zoo Puts Out Leftover Christmas Trees for Animals to Play With

Brookfield Zoo is giving this past year's Christmas trees one more use before being recycled for good!

The Zoo is putting the trees out in the exhibits so the animals can play with them.

They shared pictures of a lion, polar bear, buffalo, and other animals enjoying their new toys, and also gave the animals meat or bones with the trees.

You can see the pics below!

Eventually the trees will be ground down into mulch for use in landscaping and flower beds throughout the zoo.
