HBO Max is working on a sequel to 1983's A Christmas Story and four original cast members are joining the film.
Ian Petrella will return as Randy, Zack Ward is back as Scut Farkus, Scott Schwartz will play Flick again, and R.D. Robb is back as Schwartz.
...but the biggest news is that Peter Billingsley will return to play the main character Ralphie!
The sequel follows an adult Ralphie in the 1970s "as he returns to the house on Cleveland Street to deliver his kids a magical Christmas like the one he had growing up."
A Christmas Story Christmas is said to start shooting at the end of this month in Hungary and HBO Max is reportedly hoping their Christmas Story sequel will air during the '22 holiday season.
