The Best Cities For St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations

WalletHub has just come out with their list of the Best Cities for St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations.

They judged 200 of the largest U.S. cities across 18 factors, in areas of traditions, cost, safety & accessibility and weather.

Here's the top 5:

1.Philadelphia, PA

2.Boston, MA

3.Pittsburgh, PA

4.Chicago, IL

5.San Francisco, CA

A few other tidbits from the report:

Naperville, Illinois has the highest percentage of Irish population, while Hialeah, Florida has the lowest.

New York, Chicago, Seattle and Tampa have the most Irish pubs and restaurants per capita, while El Paso, Texas has the fewest.

When it comes to St. Paddy’s day parties and festivals, Chicago, New York, San Diego, San Francisco, Detroit and Seattle, have the most per capita, 85-times more than Phoenix, Arizona, which has the least.
