If you are eligible and didn't receive a payment last year or maybe are due more money than you were initially sent, you are allowed to claim the remaining payment as a tax credit on your 2021 tax return...BUT, you must submit your return by this Monday, April 18th.
Most of the third stimulus payments were automatically sent out last year, but they were based on your total income from your 2020 or 2019 federal returns...meaning, if you made less money last year, or your family size changed, you could be eligible for more money.
