Netflix is officially putting rules in place to end password sharing.
The streaming service we all know and love said it will roll out worldwide plans to monetize account sharing early next year. That means you will have to pay to share your account with people who don't live in your home.
In a letter to shareholders, the company said it's "going to offer the ability for borrowers to transfer their Netflix profile into their own account, and for sharers to manage their devices more easily and to create subaccounts if they want to pay for family or friends."
