I honestly only thought of brining when I came to turkey. Never did I think of doing it for pork chops or chicken until I caught the idea when I was getting my order together for Imperfect Foods. It's super simple, just mix 1/3 cup of salt, 1/3 cup of sugar, a bay leaf and a smashed clove of garlic with about a quart of water. Add your chicken breasts or pork chops and let it sit in the fridge for several hours. Just grill or bake and enjoy!
