A memento from the Beatles’ last show at San Francisco’s Candlestick Park in 1966 is up for grabs.
Joe Vilardi, the owner of a catering company in San Francisco, served the band their preconcert meal of roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, stuffed baked potatoes, salad and French pastries, which the band “devoured” over a white tablecloth.
They also drew “doodles of psychedelic persuasion” on the cloth and signed the impromptu artwork.
The tablecloth features a doodle by John Lennon, signatures of Ringo Starr and George Harrison, and doodles by folk singer Joan Baez.
The cloth was stolen but was returned to the family out of the blue last year.
London-based auction house Bonhams will make the available in a public auction online.
It is estimated to be worth between 15-and-25 thousand dollars.
