Wholesome Dibs.

Dibs season is always such an interesting time in Chicago, and love it or hate it, it is a Chicago tradition. People use all kinds of stuff to mark their parking lots, but one South Side resident claimed a parking spot with something that had drivers doing a double take.

A little red toy Mercedes was used to claim a spot near 87th Street and Saginaw on Friday. What was the icing on the cake was that a friendly meter maid gave the car a parking ticket, with the note “Have a Nice Day” written on it, with the ticket not being an actual ticket.

What a fun and creative way to save a parking spot and share some kindness with each other around the city. If you want to see a picture of the cute dibs placement, head on over to he main article here.
